Today on our 2014 Chrysler Town and Country, we're doing a test fit of the Thule Archway XT Trunk Mount 2-Bike Rack. That part number is TH9009XT. Now we already have our bike in place. We are going to start by taking this off. We've got three straps along the frame here, and then one that's going to be our anti-sway cradle in the back. We will take our bike off, set it off to the side, and we can take a few measurements. more

Thule Trunk Bike Racks Review - 2012 Chrysler 300- Video
Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300 we're going to test fit the Thule Raceway PRO trunk mount 2-bike rack. That part number is TH9001PRO. We already have our bike secured down, we're first going to show you how we do that. We have 2 cradles in place with 3 straps, 2 on our frame and 1 as our anti-sway strap. Start by removing these and we can place our bike off to the side. With that out of the way I always suggest that you replace your straps so you don't lose or damage them and now we'll take a few measurements. First being overall we're adding to our vehicle, we're adding about 19", to reduce that for close quarters situations like parking, we'll come up here and lift up on our gray lever, rotate those arms down, and we'll lock them in place. more

Today on our 2012 Chrysler 300, we're doing a test fit of the Saris SuperBones 3 Trunk-Mount Rack. That part number is SA802. We already have our bike secured down. First, we're going to show you how we do that. We have 3 straps altogether holding our bike in place, 2 on our top at our frame and one as our anti-sway. We'll start be removing these top 2 first. It helps hold that strap down onto the bike frame and push the button to remove that. more

Let's take a closer look at it and show off some of the features. How the bike attaches to the rack, you're going to have three points of contact, all of them on the bike's frame. You're going to have the two straps up here and the one strap off to the side here, which is going to serve as an anti-sway strap, which will keep it from moving back and forth possibly hitting the bike rack or the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and take that off and set it off to the side. Now with the straps, it's always a good practice to put them back in place once you take them off because you don't want them flapping around while you're driving and you don't want to lose them while you're driving. Next, I'm going to go ahead and give you some measurements here..well actually one measurement. And it's going to be how far the bike rack itself sticks out from the vehicle once it's installed. more

Today on this 2015 Chrysler 200, we're going to be test filling the Hollywood rack Baja 2 bike rack, part #HRB2. As you can see, we have a bike guard already installed on the rack. Let's go ahead and take a closer look and show off some of the features. Now as you can see, there's going to be 3 points of contact to your bike's frame here. You're going to have 2 straps up top plus a strap off to the side here which is going to be your anti sway strap to keep it from going back and forth, possibly hitting the bike rack itself of the bike in front of it. Let's go ahead and remove the straps and take the bike off. Now when removing the straps, it's always a good habit to get into to actually put them back in place once you're done, primarily so they're not flapping around while you're driving and you don't lose them while you're driving. more

For security, there's also an integrated cable lock that you would pull over the bikes and insert right here and lock, so your bikes would be nice and secure while you drive. Let's go and take the bike off. Go ahead and set it up to the side out of the way. Now, with the straps, once you take them off you want to reinstall them because you don't want them flapping around while you're driving, you don't want to lose them while you're driving. more

Hollywood Racks Baja 2 Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today, on our 2013 Chrysler 200 we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Baja two-bike rackpart number HRB2. We'll begin our test fitby placing our bike rack directly onto the trunk of our Chrysler. We'll use the levers on the side of the bike rack to adjust our top arm which also adjusts our dual arms that hold our bike. We want to make sure that our dual arms are sitting straight out or at a slight upright angle. This will determine the location of our top arm. Once we have it set correctly, we can then close the levers on the side to secure it into position. more

Thule Archway Trunk Mount Bike Rack Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on our 2013 Chrysler 200, we'll be test fitting the Thule Archway 2 Bike Rack part number TH9009XT. We'll place our fit dial to fit number seven according to the instructions, then we'll place the bike rack directly under the trunk of our Chrysler. We'll take our top hooks and set them into the top part of our trunk, then we'll take our side hooks and set them into the side part of our trunk and the bottom hooks at the bottom. We'll then snag down each strap by pulling on it. Once we have those snag, we can then go back around and pull each strap until it's tight and secure. Pulling them snag first keeps us from losing our position. With all the straps tight, our bike rack is secure and then we can undo the levers on the side of our carrier to swing out our dual-arms. more

Hollywood Racks Expedition Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on our 2013 Chrysler 200, we'll be test fitting the Hollywood Racks Expedition 2 Bike Rack, part number HRF6-2. To begin our test fit, we'll place our bike rack onto the trunk of our vehicle. We want to make sure that the lower arm is sitting on the upper tier of our bumper. The upper arm needs to be resting on the top of our trunk door.We'll go ahead and use the levers on the side to adjust the top arm as necessary. Once we have it set, we can go ahead and undo our straps to gain access to our hooks. We'll place our top hooks at the top of our trunk door. more

Yakima QuickBack 2 Bike Rack Review - 2013 Chrysler 200- Video
Today on our 2013 Chrysler 200 well be test fitting the Yakima Quick Back Trunk Mounted 2-Bike Carrier, part number Y02621. Now to begin out test fit well set the carrier on to the vehicle. Well put the top hook to the top part of the truck, the side hooks to the side part of the trunk just above the tail lights in the bottom hook to the bottom part of the trunk. Well then tight it on the straps to secure the carrier to the vehicle. After securing the excess slack were ready to load our bike. Well loosen up the red knob on the right-hand side of the carrier to swing the cradle arms out. more

Well raise the frame hooks and lower the platform. Well loosen up the wheel trays and slide them out and undo straps. more

Once the carrier is secured to the vehicle, were ready to load our bike. Lift up the grey lever on the center of the carrier to swing the cradle arms out. Well position the cradle arms level or slightly angled up, well push the lever back down, securing the arms in place and well undo the straps. more

Thule Raceway Platform Trunk Bike Rack Review - 2005 Chrysler 300- Video
Today on our 2005 Chrysler 300 well be test fitting the Thule Raceway platform style two bike carrier, part number TH9003. To begin our test fit, weve already set up our bike rack according to the instructions found within the Raceway packaging, so well begin by placing the bike rack on top of our deck lid, making sure that the bottom rests on the bumper cover. Well then take the two cables for the top and clamp them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. Well take the two lower cables and clamp them to the deck lid, here right above the rear bumper cover. We can then ratchet down all four cables, securing our bike rack to the vehicle. With our bike rack secure well now bring out our top bar clamp and make sure that its out of the way. more

Today on our 2005 Chrysler 300 well be test fitting the Thule Raceway two bike carrier, trunk mount, part number TH9001. To begin our test fit, weve already preassembled the bike rack according to the installation instructions found with the Raceway. Well place our bike rack onto the deck lid, making sure its resting on the bumper cover. Well then take the two top cables and secure them to the deck lid just behind the rear window. We can then ratchet them down using the knobs on either side of the bike rack to hold it into place. Well then do the same with the two lower cables on either side. more
